Ohio's new exotic animal law has more big cats moving out of state.
Tigers Sammie and Delilah are getting acquainted with their new home in Albion, Ind. after being moved this weekend.
They were shipped from the Tiger Paw Rescue Center in Ashland County because of the new Ohio fees owners of exotic animals would face as well as facility upgrades they would have to complete.
The caretaker for the tigers said she did not have a choice.
"I just wanted them to be able to live out the rest of their lives happy and in a good place and be well cared for and that's all that matter," said Denise Flores.
Flores said she plans to make the three-and-a-half-hour drive to see the tigers in their new home as often as she can.
