Those in their homes and on the road were faced with tough wind gusts on Sunday.
More than 3,000 Franklin County AEP Ohio customers were left without power on Sunday afternoon because of the gusts
Drivers battled 50-mile-per-hour winds and rain. There were no immediate reports of serious crashes, but many had to struggle to get around.
Power also was knocked out to a number of intersections, causing traffic issues.
