Reward Offered For Information About Counterfeit Money

Central Ohio Crime Stopper announced a $2,000 reward for information about a man who used counterfeit $50 bills.

According to Crime Stoppers, an unidentified man entered the Macy’s store, located at 2727 S. Hamilton Rd., at about 3:30 p.m. May 15 and bought items using seven counterfeit $50 bills.

On June 15, the same man was seen at the store returning the items purchased with the counterfeit money.

The reward is issued for information about the crime that leads to the arrest and/or indictment of the person responsible.
