Deputies Arrest 2 Men After Finding $10,000 In Drugs, Fake IDs, Social Security Cards

Deputies said that they arrested two men who were found to be in the U.S. illegally on Saturday.

According to the Athens County Sheriff’s Office, deputies stopped two men along U.S. Route 33. Deputies searched their vehicle and found $10,000 in drugs, several forged identification cards and social security numbers.

Officials arrested Rigoberto Loera Centeno, 32, and Victor Fernando Loera Centeno, 31. Immigration officials confirmed that the two were in the country illegally.

The men were taken to the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail on charges of forgery and possession. Immigration officials were investigating.
