UPDATED: Saturday October 13, 2012 11:15 AM

Police said that a 57-year-old Marion man’s death was being treated as “suspicious.”

Marion police said that they received a call at about 2:40 p.m. on Friday about a man not breathing in the 250 block of North State Street.

When crews arrived, they found the man, identified as Mitchell Weller, dead.

Police searched for a woman who was reported to have last seen Weller alive. Police questioned the unidentified woman and arrested her for unrelated charges.

Weller’s body was taken to the Franklin County Coroner’s Office for an autopsy. Police said that they were treating the death as “suspicious,” but not as a homicide.

Autopsy results could take a few weeks.

Anyone with information about Weller’s death was asked to call the Marion Police Department at 740-387-2525.
