Groveport Madison Schools sent a letter home with students on Friday outlining the deadline for its participation fees.
The letter from Superintendent Bruce Hoover said an e-mail went out with inaccurate information, which confused some families.
The letter states that a $50 fee should be paid by October 16th, and if the fee cannot be paid by then, a waiver should be completed.
The waiver gives families ten extra days to pay the fee.
If the fee is not paid by Oct. 26, the student will not be permitted to participate in the extracurricular activity.
