A major route into the university district will soon open to drivers again..
The Dodridge Street bridge near Ackerman Road will open by Oct. 31.
The bridge has been closed since July 2011 for reconstruction.
Along with the finalization of the bridge project, the trail along the Olentangy River was slated to reopen on Friday.
