Man Seen Exposing Himself At Businesses In Short North, Campus Area

The Blue Danube, Barley's and Bar Louie are three bars in which Carolyn Harrington says she witnessed a man expose himself.

"He's getting the reaction that he wants by us feeling intimidated and threatened and shocked,” said Harrington.

Harrington said she first saw the man at the Blue Danube in December.

"I looked down and saw that he was completely exposed,” she explained.

She said that was followed by a second time in January at Barley's.

"I told him to get out of here and so he ran out,” said Harrington.

Harrington now says it happened again on Thursday night at Bar Louie. She said in each case, the man was wearing a pair of pants with a large tear down the front.

“The first two times I saw him, he was wearing white linen pants and then last night he was wearing a mesh running pant,” she said.

Blue Danube bartender Rachel Bertner said she's encountered a couple of problems with a man who fits Harrington's description.

Bertner said the man left the bar and followed two women outside about a month ago.

"When they got outside, he was fully exposed,” said Bertner.

Harrington said she's concerned the man might take things further and may become more dangerous.

No police reports have been filed in these cases.
