People across the U.S. will spend around $8 billion on decorations, candy and costumes for Halloween.
It's the second most shopped holiday of the year.
One of the growing spending areas is pet costumes which accounted for $370 million in spending this year. That's up $40 million from last year.
The top pet costumes according to the National Retail Federation Survey are:
1. Pumpkin
2. Devil
3. Cat Costume (for dogs)
4. Hotdog
5. Bumble Bee
Ghosts, super heroes and witches were also found to be popular.
