Ohio State University Newark Classes To Resume Tuesday Evening After Bomb Threat

The Ohio State University's Newark campus and the Central Ohio Technical Collage's shared campus were evacuated Tuesday morning because of a bomb threat.

A bomb threat was received by a staff member, who reported it to authorities shortly after 10:30 a.m.

Investigators were went building by building at the campus, located on Sharon Valley Road, but did not find any threat.

Classes were slated to resume by 5:30 p.m.
