A 7-year-old boy was at home recovering after authorities said he was mauled by a neighbor's dog.
A representative from the Richland County Dog Warden's Office said that the boy had walked over to a friend's house to play when the dog started growling at him and then began to bite him.
The boy's grandmother said that he might need plastic surgery to repair the damage.
According to the Mansfield News Journal, the Boxer was taken from the home and would be euthanized at the request of the dog's owners.
