Students at Dublin Coffman High School were evacuated Tuesday morning just after 11 a.m. due to the discovery of a threatening note.

According to school officials, a student found a threatening note in a boys restroom and turned the note into a teacher, who notified administrators.

Officials said the students were being moved to the football field as a precaution.

The school, located at 6780 Coffman Road, was searched by authorities, and students returned to class after nothing was found.

School officials did not release what was written on the note or the nature of the threat.
