Authorities said that the south side ramp from U.S. 23 north to I-270 west was closed on the south side Monday morning.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, several vehicles became disabled when they tried to enter the ramp.
The ramp was expected to be closed until 4 p.m. for pavement repairs. It will close again at 10 p.m. and will reopen by 5 a.m. Tuesday.
The detour is I-270 east to Alum Creek Drive to I-270 west.
There were no reports of injuries.
