A charter school was temporarily locked down on Monday because of a person allegedly carrying a BB gun near the building.
According to police, one person was taken into custody after allegedly carrying the gun near the Midnimo Cross Cultural Charter School, located at 1465 Oakland Park Ave.
The name of the person in custody was not immediately released.
