Reward Offered For Information About Suspected Purse Thief, Getaway Driver

Investigators were working to learn more about a purse snatching at Kroger.

According to Central Ohio Crime Stoppers, a woman was leaving the Kroger store, located along Soldano Boulevard, when a man and a woman followed her out around 10:40 p.m. on July 30.

As the victim made her way to her vehicle with a child, the man grabbed the victim’s purse and ran to a dark red Nissan driven by the female suspect.

Kroger security cameras captured images of the pair suspected in the robbery.

Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the people responsible.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 614-645-8477 or visit the website at www.stopcrime.org before Oct. 17.

Tips also can be texted to "CRIMES," keyword CMH.

Crime Stoppers does not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations.
