Police said that they caught three suspects in a robbery after a Saturday afternoon pursuit.

According to the City of Delaware Police Department, authorities were called to a home on Delaware Crossing East on a report of an armed robbery in progress about 3:22 p.m.

Police said that initial reports indicated the robbers took cash and other items from the residents at gunpoint before fleeing.

Investigators said that they quickly located the suspected robbers in a vehicle. When authorities attempted to stop the vehicle, it sped away.

Police continued to pursue the vehicle into the county, stopping on Old 3-C Highway at Locust Drive. One of the suspected robbers was taken into custody immediately, the others ran away from the scene.

Investigators caught and arrested the two other suspects a short time later.

Six law enforcement agencies, including the Columbus Division of Police helicopter, were surrounding the area as the searched continued.

There were no reports of injuries. The identities and descriptions of those involved were not immediately released.
