A Columbus police cruiser was involved in a crash just after 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
The crash occurred along Olentangy River Road near Snouffer Road on the city's northwest side.
Authorities closed Olentangy River Road while investigators were on the scene.
The names of those involved were not immediately released, and the extent of injuries to those involved was unknown.
The officer suffered minor injuries in the crash and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
