The Ohio Elections Commission has dismissed a complaint filed by the Hocking County Prosecutor over what she calls a lie about her underwear.

Specifically -- a story she says her opponent keeps telling about her taking them off in court.

Laina Fetherolf filed a complaint with the commission stating that her opponent, Jason Sarver, is telling people she once wore dark panties under a light-colored sundress, and when the judge told her to fix the problem she went into a men's restroom, took off her panties, and then tossed them on the judge's desk saying, "problem solved."

Fetherolf said the story is untrue and defamatory, and calls her morals into question.

The commission dismissed her complaint on Thursday, stating the comments did not violate campaign guidelines because they were not made publicly nor published in campaign literature.

Sarver has been unavailable for comment.
