UPDATED: Thursday October 4, 2012 11:28 AM

A woman accused of robbing three different dollar stores and attempting to rob another was ordered held under $350,000 Thursday.

According to detectives, Kala Burge walked into the Dollar General store, located along Lockbourne Road, armed with a knife and passed a note stating that she was robbing the clerk on Tuesday. The clerk complied with her demands.

Burge was also accused of attempting to rob the Family Dollar, located along Parsons Avenue, in the same manner around twenty minutes before targeting the Dollar General. In that case, the clerk refused to comply with her demand, and she eventually fled the scene.

Police took Burge into custody about an hour after the Dollar General Store robbery.

Authorities said that Burge admitted to both robberies and confessed to two other Lockbourne Road Family Dollar store robberies that occurred on Tuesday.

Burge was charged with two counts of aggravated robbery.
