Police were working to learn if drugs or alcohol played a role in an overnight Wednesday crash.
Police said that the driver started along Perimeter Drive around midnight. The driver struck a car in a parking lot and a brick wall before crashing into a median on Avery Road. The crash caused the brick wall to collapse.
The driver eventually got out of the car and ran from police. Investigators caught him a short time later.
The driver, whose identity was not released, was transported to Dublin Methodist Hospital. His condition was not immediately known.
