Semi Carrying 40,000 lbs Of Fruit Overturns Along West Side Ramp

A highway ramp in West Columbus closed Tuesday night because of an overturned semi carrying fruit.

Columbus Police said the semi overturned around 6:30 p.m. It closed the ramp from eastbound 70 to northbound 270.

The semi was carrying 40,000 pounds of fruit. Crews reopened the ramp by 2:30 a.m.
