Police arrested a man accused of "ambushing" a woman as she walked to dance class.

Investigators arrested Gary Humphrey, 18, and charged him with robbery which is a third degree felony.

The attack happened as the woman walked near McMillen Avenue Wednesday evening. Authorities said that multiple men approached the woman while she listened to music on her phone.

The victim told police that the men grabbed her, spun her around, and took her iPhone.

The woman followed the men while yelling for help. A nearby officer heard her cries and chased down Humphrey, who was allegedly carrying the stolen phone.

The phone was returned to the victim and Humphrey was booked at the Franklin County Jail.
