4 Arrested After Allegedly Stabbing, Assaulting 82-Year-Old Woman

The Athens County Sheriff's Office arrested four people accused of assaulting a woman at her home in January.

Christopher Fleming, 20, of Belpre, was arrested on Tuesday and was charged with complicity to commit aggravated burglary and felonious assault.

Brandon Baker, 19, of Belpre, and Colin Stout, 20, of Coolville, were charged with aggravated burglary and felonious assault.

On Wednesday, deputies also arrested Cody Stout, 23, and charged him with complicity to commit aggravated burglary and felonious assault.

According to the sheriff's office, Ota Vincent was stabbed in her neck and shoulder during a robbery at her home, located on Brandeberry Road in Coolville on Jan. 24.

Vincent was left unconscious from the assault and called law enforcement officials when she regained consciousness.

Vincent, 82, was taken to a hospital in Columbus, where she spent months rehabilitating.

According to the sheriff's office, additional charges were expected for the Stouts, Fleming and Baker.
