At least one person is dead after a multi-vehicle crash near Chillicothe Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, two cars collided shortly after 3 p.m. near state Route 104 and Pleasant Valley Road just north of Chillicothe.
A 24-year-old woman was killed when she was ejected from the vehicle. The OHP said they believe she may not have been wearing a seat belt.
A 22-year-old man was taken to a hospital. His condition was not known.
Drivers on southbound S.R. 104 were being rerouted over Moundsville Road.
The conditions and names of the people involved in the crash were not immediately released. There's also no word on what caused the crash.
