Reward Offered For Information About Ohio State University Newark Sexual Assault

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrests of those involved in a Newark sexual assault.

According to police, a woman reported being sexually assaulted on the Newark campus of The Ohio State University at about 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 17.

Police said that the woman told them she was approached by three men in the amphitheater in the center of the campus.

One of the men groped the 20-year-old woman while the other two men held her.

The description of the men, who were described as white and young, was vague.

Anyone with information about the sexual assault was asked to call Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888 or 888-488-9058.
