Fire crews responded to a report of a leak in a tank at a Newark warehouse housing fiber glass early Saturday morning.

According to Licking County dispatchers, the situation was at Owens Corning, located at 400 Case Ave. The call came in to officials shortly before 5 a.m.

Fire officials were treating the situation as a two-alarm fire with extra equipment because the leak was near fiber glass materials, which are molten.

According to dispatchers, the situation was contained to one building and there were no reports of evacuations or injuries.

Owens Corning's in-plant fire team and Newark fire officials contained the leak at about 6:45 a.m.
