Passerby Picks Up Shooting Victim, Takes Him To Hospital

A man was recovering at Grant Medical Center on Saturday evening after being shot in east Columbus.

According to police, Twan Barlow, 31, was shot near McAllister Avenue and 22nd Street shortly before 1 p.m.

Police said that Barlow ran south to East Mound and South 22nd streets after being shot and was picked up by a passerby, who took him to Grant Medical Center.

Barlow suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body and was recovering at the hospital.

Police have not made any arrests in connection with the shooting.
