Construction crews are slated to begin renovations on the municipal court building in Downtown Columbus next spring.

Crews will begin by renovating current elevators and installing a new elevator to help with the transfer of inmates in the court building.

Then, renovation of each floor will begin starting with the top floors down.

A court official told 10TV News that work could continue until 2020.
