Police were working to find the person who shot a northeast side man inside his home.
The victim told police that several people forced their way into his Manchester Avenue home around midnight Wednesday. One person pulled a gun and shot the victim.
The victim, whose identity was not released, called police and was rushed to Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was expected to recover from his injuries.
Descriptions of the intruders were not available. The motive for the shooting was not immediately known.
