A Knox County father accused of leaving a loaded gun unsecured is now charged in connection with the death of his 3-year-old son.
A grand jury indicted 25-year-old Joshua Heagren on one felony count of child endangering and a misdemeanor charge of negligent homicide.
Knox County authorities said Lucas Heagren found his father's firearm May 28 and died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
