The Hollywood Casino in West Columbus is still being worked on as opening day approaches, but there are definite signs of progress.
The fountain outside the casino is working and several lighted signs are already promoting the Oct. 8 opening.
The casino will have more than 100 table games and more than 3,000 slot machines.
It will be the largest casino in the state of Ohio.
Casinos in Toledo and Cleveland opened earlier this year and one in Cincinnati is scheduled to open next year.
