Investigators released a photo of the man arrested in connection with the assault of an 80-year-old woman.
Police said that William Jenkins attacked and robbed the woman at the Kroger store, located at 1585 Georgesville Square Dr., on Sept. 4. Investigator said that Jenkins admitted to the robbery.
Authorities said that Jenkins, 24, stole more than $1,000 from the woman, along with a necklace. Jenkins was charged with aggravated robbery.
Police also arrested Kaitlin Guy, who was accused of driving the getaway vehicle.
Jenkins was scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 24. Guy, who was also charged with aggravated robbery, will be in court on Monday.
The victim, whose identity was not released, remained hospitalized after the attack.
