Investigators were working to learn more about two men who robbed two banks.

The men first targeted the Huntington Bank, located at 3003 E. Main St., on July 16. One masked man, armed with a shotgun, stood on top of a customer service counter while both men demanded cash before running away.

The next target was the PNC bank, located at 4650 E. Broad St., on Aug. 20. The same robbers, armed with handguns, jumped the teller counter and removed cash. The men fled in a gray four-door Chevrolet Malibu.

In both cases, the men covered their faces—one wore a black ski mask and the other a scarf.

Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information received by Sept. 26 leading to the arrest or indictment of the people responsible for the robberies.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 614-461-8477 or visit their Web site and email a tip.
