Crew Score Early, But Fall At New York

Thierry Henry scored two goals and added an assist to lead the New York Red Bulls to a 3-1 win over the Columbus Crew on Saturday night.
 
The victory enabled the Red Bulls (14-7-7) to remain unbeaten at home this season (10-0-3) and gave New York sole possession of second place in the Eastern Conference. With 49 points, the Red Bulls moved past Chicago, two points behind front-runner Sporting Kansas City. The Red Bulls are the only MLS club to remain undefeated at home.
 
The Red Bulls scored twice in the final 12 minutes to secure the win, including Dax McCarty's go-ahead goal in the 79th minute.
 
Milovan Mirosevic scored in the third minute for Columbus (12-10-6).
