Man Dies After Being Crushed By Equipment At Westerville Business

A 60-year-old employee at Worthington Cylinders was killed on Friday after being crushed by equipment at the business.

Larry Kostelnik was crushed from the waist down at about 6:30 a.m. at the business, located along Maxtown Road. He was transported to St. Ann's Hospital where he later died.

Kostelnik was a long time employee, according to corporate officials.

"We are deeply saddened by the loss of a member of our family.  Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and co-workers," said a company statement.

Worthington Cylinders has suspended operations through the weekend.
