A man was expected to survive Friday morning after he was struck by a car.
According to investigators, the man was walking along Interstate 270, over Broad Street, when the crash occurred around 5 a.m.
The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene. No serious injuries were reported.
The road was closed for a short time during the investigation.
The identities of those involved were not released.
