Bomb Squad Called To Vacant School About Suspicious Package

The Columbus bomb squad was called to a vacant school on the southeast side to investigate a suspicious package Friday morning.

Officials said that the package was not a threat and cleared the scene, located at the old Barrett School on Deshler Avenue, at about 11:30 a.m.

A caller reported a suspicious package.

There were no reports of injuries.
