New Albany Classic Invitational Grand Prix, Family Days Slated For Sept. 23

Look for everything from sports to music at this year's New Albany Classic Invitational Grand Prix and Family Days.

The premier equestrian event is slated for the grounds of Les and Abigail Wexner's home in New Albany on Sept. 23.
 
The band Hot Chelle Rae will perform live at the event, which benefits the Center for Family Safety and Healing.

The organization serves child abuse and domestic violence victims.

"Today, in a unique way, we're able to focus on the kids and the entire family," said Abigail Wexner. "That's not being done anywhere else in the country. So, the whole idea of the (event) is to focus on the notion of healthy families, because at the same time, we know so many others are in need of that."

Tickets for the event cost $20 for those 11 and older. Those 10 and under are free.

Gates open at 10 a.m. on Sept. 23. Tickets can be purchased here.
