Marion police arrested a teenager girl after she allegedly drove the getaway car during a shooting.

The 17-year-old girl was one of four people allegedly connected to a brawl and an attempted shooting earlier in September.

Police said that the girl, who was not identified, was the getaway-car driver in an incident that broke out on Latourette Street in Marion.

Another 17 year old is accused of firing shots into the air and then trying to shoot a man before her gun jammed.

The girl was restrained by witnesses until police arrived.

Two teen boys also were arrested in connection with the shooting.
