More than 100 soldiers returned to central Ohio Thursday after a year in Afghanistan.
Two flights carrying 160 soldiers from the 37th Infantry Brigade landed at Rickenbacker International Airport and more were scheduled on Saturday and Sunday.
"It's like a dream," Sgt. Marvin Van Buren, of the 37th Infantry Combat Team, said.
The soldiers performed personal security duties as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.
