Two people were killed in a Tuesday morning crash.
According to the Jackson post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Gary L. Brown Jr., of Wellston, was driving along Jack Vaughn Road when he drove off the road and struck a tree at about 6:50 a.m.
Brown, 19, and his passenger, 19-year-old Amanda Blazer, of Lancaster, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The events leading to the crash were under investigation.
