Police were searching for a gunman Wednesday night after a man was shot and killed.
The shooting happened around 9:45 p.m. near Miller Avenue and Gault Street in East Columbus.
Police said the victim ran a few blocks south and collapsed at Lockbourne Road and Livingston Avenue.
The man was taken to Grant Medical Center where he died a short time later.
Investigators said the victim was in his 20s. His name was not released.
A motive was unclear Wednesday night.
