Police are investigating a report of an armed robbery that turned into a shootout.
A store employee said that three men and a woman armed with a gun walked into the Ameristop store, located at 495 Lancaster Ave., and fired shots Monday at about 10:30 p.m.
The store manager, who employees said has a CCW permit, shot at the robber who fled the scene.
A customer inside the store at the time of the shootout said that the clerk was bleeding and might have been struck in the face.
Police were inspecting surveillance video from the store to see if they could identify the suspect.
