A former Hilliard City Schools volunteer pleaded not guilty in a California court to possessing child pornography.
William F. Blackhall, the former vice president of the Hilliard Music Boosters representing Hilliard Darby High School, was charged with one felony possession and control of child pornography.
Blackhall, 50, was arrested July 25, near Newport Beach, Calif., according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, for "possession/control of materials concerning a child under age 14."
Blackhall pleaded not guilty on Monday.
Hilliard City Schools' officials said that Blackhall's volunteer status was revoked on Aug. 2, the same day the district was informed of the arrest, according to ThisWeek Community Newspapers.
