Police said that a woman may have been held against her will before she was shot Tuesday morning.
Police arrived at the Columbus Inn and Suites, located in the 6100 block of Zumstein Drive, to find the woman shot outside the building around 1 a.m.
Investigators were working to track down the gunman. A description of the shooter was not immediately available.
The victim, whose identity was not released, was transported to Mount Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital, in Westerville. Her condition was not immediately known.
