Ohio motorists are paying about a dime less for a gallon of regular gas this week.

The average price for a gallon of regular gas was $3.76 in Monday's survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express. It was about $3.86 a week ago, but fell following the long Labor Day weekend, which usually marks the end of the summer driving season.

Still, the average gas price in Ohio is about 8 cents more than a year ago.

Nationally, the average price for regular gas is about $3.83, about the same as last week and about 17 cents more than a year ago.
