A mother said that her son was the victim of a man armed with a BB gun.
The mother said that her 8-year-old son was playing with a group of children when a man started shooting at random. Her son and another child were both struck.
The incident occurred on North Ogden Avenue on Sunday.
The children were not seriously injured. Police continued to search for the person responsible for the shooting.
The names of those involved were not immediately released.
