3 Accused In Burning Death Of Canton Woman Held On $500,000 Bond Each

Three people accused of burning and leaving a woman for dead in the middle of a Muskingum County road faced a judge on Friday.

Monica J. Washington, 24, Lafonse Darney Dixon, 33, and Katrina Marie Culberson, 20, are accused of killing Celeste Fonsman in August.

The three were being held in the Muskingum County Jail on $500,000 bond each.

Fronsman, 29, was found burned with a rope around her neck along state Route 208 near Steel Hill Road, between Dresden and Adamsville, on Aug. 26. She was taken to the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center,
where she died.
