Man Sentenced To 4 Years For Eighth Drunken-Driving Offense

Friday September 7, 2012 11:40 AM

A Warsaw man was convicted of his eighth drunken-driving offense in 20 years.

Robert L. Endsley of Warsaw was sentenced to four years in prison and a lifetime suspension of his driver's license.

Endsley, 45, was stopped on state Route 229 near Gambier in July 2010. Deputies said that they watched Endsley weave in and out of his marked lane.

Endsley failed a sobriety test.

Sentencing was delayed because Endsley failed to appear in court in December 2010.

He was re-arrested in July 2012.
