A Columbus man has been indicted on eight different charges in connection with two 2009 robberies at Easton Town Center.

According to prosecutors, Jay Lamont White, 37, attacked two different women with a hunting knife.

On October 13, 2009, he first approached a woman at her car and threatened her in an attempt to get her to drive him to an ATM, according to police.

The victim escaped, but White allegedly took the car.

Later on that same day, prosecutors said White walked up behind a woman at her residence and demanded money at knife point.

White will be arraigned on Friday on two counts of aggravated robbery, two counts of robbery (F-2), two counts of robbery (F-3), one count of kidnapping and one count of theft.
